Applications: Lightweight lagging fabric developed for insulation pads, pipe lagging, safety barriers, safety curtains, garments, and protective ...
(7) Black Slag is coated with a proprietary coating. The base fabric is manufactured using highly texturized silica yarn. Abrasion resistant coating for tough welding applications. Will shed molten spatter and sparks to 3000F on a 15 degree or greater incline away from the heat source. Recommended for curtains, blankets and screens.
Durable coated fiberglass fabric to reduce airborne fiber emission is suited for a wide range of welding applications. Ideal for blankets, curtains, screens, and machine covers. Not recommended for horizontal use.
General Description: Silica Cloths are woven with continuous filament, amorphous silica yarns. Silica Cloths have a proprietary high temperature treatment, which significantly improves both the abrasion resistance and tensile strength of the fabrics.
Applications: Include all high temperature uses requiring thermal insulation and protection. Examples are welding blankets and curtains, stress releiving, insulation and turbine covers where continuious temperatures up to 1800F are required.
